Day 1
Entebbe to Murchison Falls, with a stop at a rhino sanctuary where Uganda is rebuilding a population from zero. Day 2: Morning game drive on the northern bank for lion, elephant and Rothschild's giraffe, then an afternoon boat to the base of the falls, where the entire Nile forces through a seven-metre gap. Day 3: A hike to the top of the falls, then the long transfer begins toward the far northeast. Day 4: Arrive in Kidepo Valley, tucked against the South Sudan and Kenya borders — one of the wildest, least-visited parks on the continent. Day 5: Full day in Kidepo's Narus Valley, with species found nowhere else in Uganda. Day 6: A second Kidepo day, with a visit to a Karamojong community (on fair, agreed terms). Day 7: Fly Kidepo to Entebbe (the drive is very long; flying is the sane option). Day 8: Departure.
