Overview
About Kidepo Valley National Park
Kidepo Valley National Park is Uganda's most remote and visually dramatic wildlife destination — a sweeping semi-arid valley bordering South Sudan. It is the only park in Uganda where cheetah, caracal, and ostrich are regularly seen, making it a genuinely unique East Africa safari experience.
Kidepo Valley National Park is a 1,442 km2 (557 sq mi) large national park in the Karamoja region of northeastern Uganda. It encompasses rugged savannah at the foothills of Mount Morungole and is transected by the Kidepo and Narus rivers.
