Day 1
Fly Nairobi to the Masai Mara. Afternoon drive toward the river to read where the herds are massing. Day 2: Full day positioned near the main crossing points. Crossings are unpredictable — herds can wait at the bank for hours or days — so patience is the strategy, and your guide works the radio network to move on movement. Day 3: Second full day, balancing crossing vigils with the exceptional predator action the migration draws in. Day 4: Early drive, then explore the wider reserve and conservancies where numbers are capped and the plains feel emptier. Day 5: Dawn drive and return flight to Nairobi. A note we'd rather say up front: no operator can guarantee a river crossing on a given day. What we can promise is being in the right place, at the right time of year, with a guide who knows the river.
