Day 1
Depart Nairobi for Lake Nakuru, a fenced sanctuary and one of the more reliable places in Kenya to see both black and white rhino. Afternoon drive around the lake shore. Day 2: Morning at Nakuru, then transfer to Lake Naivasha. Afternoon boat trip among hippos and a walk on a fenced sanctuary where you can approach plains game on foot. Day 3: Drive to the Masai Mara, descending into the reserve by afternoon for a first game drive. Day 4: Full day in the Mara, following predators across the plains with a bush picnic. Day 5: Second full day, with time to reach the more remote sections of the reserve away from the vehicle clusters. Day 6: Dawn drive, then the road or a flight back to Nairobi.
