Day 1

Arrive Kigali; city and memorial. Day 2: Transfer to the Virungas. Day 3: Mountain gorilla trek in Volcanoes National Park. Day 4: Golden monkey trek, then cross into Uganda. Day 5: Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park; afternoon Kazinga Channel cruise. Day 6: Ishasha tree-climbing lions and plains drives. Day 7: North to Kibale Forest. Day 8: Chimpanzee trek and swamp walk. Day 9: Fly to Entebbe, connect to Nairobi. Day 10: Nairobi to Amboseli; elephants and Kilimanjaro. Day 11: Fly to the Masai Mara. Day 12: Full day in the Mara. Day 13: Second Mara day, into the conservancies. Day 14: Return to Nairobi for departure.
