7-Day Kenya & Tanzania Migration

Day 1: Fly Nairobi to the Masai Mara. Afternoon game drive.

Day 2: Full day in the Mara.

Day 3: A second Mara day near the river during the crossing season.

Day 4: Cross into Tanzania and transfer to the northern Serengeti — the same herds, the same grassland, a quieter side of the border.

Day 5: Full day in the northern Serengeti around the Mara River’s Tanzanian reaches.

Day 6: Second Serengeti day, working south as the animals do.

Day 7: Fly Serengeti to Arusha or Nairobi for onward connections.

Border logistics (visas, the crossing itself) are handled for you; we’ll set expectations on timing honestly, as the crossing adds a few hours.

6-Day Great Migration River Crossings

Day 1: Fly directly to Kogatende airstrip, northern Serengeti. Afternoon drive to the Mara River positions.

Days 2–5: Four full days in the northern Serengeti. Each morning we radio-scan the crossing pools with our network of guides. When a crossing builds, we are in position. Between crossings, the resident predator population — lion, leopard, and cheetah — provide exceptional game viewing.

Day 6: Final morning drive, midday fly back to Arusha or onward connection.

5-Day Calving Season Safari

Day 1: Fly Arusha to Seronera, drive south to Ndutu. Afternoon drive on the short-grass plains.

Days 2–4: Full days in the Ndutu calving zone. Wildebeest calving, cheetah hunts, lion family feeding frenzies, hyena clan activity.

Day 5: Morning Ndutu plains drive, midday fly back to Arusha.

5-Day Mara Migration Special

Day 1: Fly Nairobi to the Masai Mara. Afternoon drive toward the river to read where the herds are massing.

Day 2: Full day positioned near the main crossing points. Crossings are unpredictable — herds can wait at the bank for hours or days — so patience is the strategy, and your guide works the radio network to move on movement.

Day 3: Second full day, balancing crossing vigils with the exceptional predator action the migration draws in.

Day 4: Early drive, then explore the wider reserve and conservancies where numbers are capped and the plains feel emptier.

Day 5: Dawn drive and return flight to Nairobi.

A note we’d rather say up front: no operator can guarantee a river crossing on a given day. What we can promise is being in the right place, at the right time of year, with a guide who knows the river.
